Art Glass Factory

My mom, sister, and I went on a girls trip to Polanica Zdroj, Poland. It was a place that we all have been at some point in our lives, but never together.

My sister and I visited this place as kids for overnight camps.

My mother went there for a health retreat after my father died. It was a place that helped her recharge and go on as a single parent.

One of the stops, at my mother`s request, was this cool Art Glass Factory. It was surprisingly small, but if you love to take photos, you will find it very inspiring.

The coolest thing happened when people working there were on break. One of the man working there asked me if I want a cool shot. Of course I said yes. He led me behind the safety rope to the huge and very hot furnace.  He opened the door that leads to the inside, let me get as close as I felt comfortable, and take photos. Despite the incredibly hot air, I was able to take some amazing shots. I left the place happy and giddy.

Sausalito, California

Sausalito is a beautiful, short boat ride away from San Francisco. You can also get there by car (it will take a little longer). While we were on the boat, it was sunny. While we were walking around Sausalito, it was foggy and gloomy. My sister and I loved every moment of it, no matter the weather.

Spectacular Fireworks At Disney World

Posted in Photography with tags , , , , , , on March 20, 2016 by Giaskyler

The most breathtaking lights and fireworks show I have ever seen! On the top of that, when the images from “Frozen” came on and “Let It Go” started to play, the magic has reached its peak! Why, you ask? Here is why: the whole park, I mean THE WHOLE park, started to sing loudly like there is no tomorrow. I had tears in my eyes, for it brought back the memories when I went to see the movie, many years ago, with kids I took care of. The moment Elsa started singing this song, all kids (including “mine”) stood up and started to sing and dance. I know many of you is sick of this song at this point, but when you have experienced it the way I was lucky to, it makes it magical and special forever.

Zugspitze, Part 2

My friend and I took a short gondola ride down to see the skiing spot. It was not enough snow to ski that day (it was the beginning of October), but enough to have fun with sleds (for free). It was a fun day. I felt like I am standing on the top of the world. Miles and miles of mountains in front of me wherever I looked. I was reminded, once again, how much I love mountains.
